As the voice of Santa Barbara High, we are obligated to consider publishing student-written op-eds (opposite the editorial). When editing op-eds, we edit for brevity, clarity, quality, and accuracy. We appreciate receiving the opinion of the student body, but all submitted articles are subject to peer and adviser review.
The Forge does not publish articles that contain slander, libel, bullying, harassment, or incite or provoke. With over years of experience and excellence under our belt, The Forge strives to continue to publish true and high-quality pieces. All are written by current Santa Barbara High School students.

Any op-ed published in The Forge does not reflect the opinions of the adviser, editors, staff, class, club, school, or district.
