Madeleine Savellano is a junior at Santa Barbara High School. This is her first year with the Forge, but she has had a passion for writing ever since she was little. Maddy is a multi-sport athlete, Soccer being a big part of her life and her identity. She plays tennis, soccer, and beach volleyball for the high school, as well as club soccer on the off season. Over the summer, you can find her volunteering with kids at the Moxi or hanging out on the beach with her friends. Maddy is someone who is always down to try new experiences, and she hopes that she can continue to learn and grow through her experience with journalism.
